While most pool shops can perform basic chemical testing, this will not provide you with assurance that water is free of microbiological pathogens. This basic package includes testing for indicators of potential contamination:
- E. coli
- Thermotolerant Coliforms
You will be provided a report that will let you compare your results to the Water Quality Guidelines for Public Aquatic Facilities microbiological criteria. These guidelines generally apply to commercial swimming pool operators but contain useful information regarding the maintenance of swimming pools to reduce contamination.
If you require testing to ensure your swimming pool meets the Water Quality Guidelines for Public Aquatic Facilities we would recommend you look at the Pool and spa health package (standard) package below.
