Noosa Wastewater Treatment Plant is located on Wallum Lane, Noosa Heads.
The renewal and maintenance work will include:
- Geotech and surveying activities
- Structural renewal to concrete slabs, pits, and foundations
- Installation of pipes and fittings for the new wet weather bypass
- Future works include a new switch room and associated civil works, including installation of a new UV system.
Preliminary construction activities will commence on site from October 2024, followed by stage two of construction from November 2024, this will include installing a bypass, pipework, and electrical conduits and take up to eighteen weeks to be completed, weather and site conditions permitting. Future works will be scheduled in 2025.
All works will take place within the existing Noosa Wastewater Treatment Plant.
