A new 10km water main is being constructed at Mount Coolum which will connect to existing water infrastructure on the western side of the Sunshine Motorway and then north to the Peregian Springs water reservoir.
This is an important project to meet the needs of the growing Peregian Springs and broader Sunshine Coast community. The new water main will provide water supply security in this area and service about 11,000 people.
The works have started and are now located around South Coolum Road. There may be closures in the area, including the track on the western side of Mount Coolum, while works are in progress and we appreciate the community's patience while this important work is completed.
