Our Detailed Infrastructure Plan (DIP) request service will be closed between Friday 23 December 2016 and Monday 9 January 2017.
Any DIP requests received after 2pm on Friday 23 December 2016 will not be processed until our service recommences. We will process all requests received during this closure period after we return on Monday 9 January 2017.
Unitywater has introduced its new My Account online service for requesting Detailed Infrastructure Plans for water and sewerage.
From 1 July 2015 onwards, this convenient 24/7 service will be the only way to order these plans.
Log in to My Account and select the My Requests tab where you will find Infrastructure Plan requests.
What if I don’t have an Account?
You can register for My Account by using your existing sundry account details.
Setting up a general sundry account is easy; please contact us weekdays 8:30am – 5pm.
How much does it cost?
From 1 July 2016, the price for a Detailed Infrastructure Plan is $39.60 (including GST).
Fees are charged primarily for the time taken to complete a comprehensive search of Unitywater records and to a much lesser degree to provide a copy of the requested item. Consequently, there will be no refunds in the event the search was not successful.
How do I pay?
You can pay using your credit card or on your 14 day sundry account.
How long will it take?
Unitywater will complete all necessary searches and deliver your Detailed Infrastructure Plan within five business days upon application and payment of fee.
What will I receive?
The Detailed Infrastructure Plans show the locations of all Unitywater Infrastructure that is available, such as the water supply mains and sewerage mains. Asset information is also provided, namely invert levels, surface levels, pipe material and length.
The plan is not guaranteed to display the house connection or privately owned infrastructure.
Detailed Infrastructure Plans DO NOT include:
- The depth of the pipe
- The actual distance to the boundary (however, the map is to scale and this distance can be measured).
Detailed Infrastructure Plans are based on the original construction plans submitted to Unitywater by builders or developers when they have completed the build of a property. Please be aware however that Unitywater data is also updated and refined from continual feedback from various sources, including Unitywater field staff and developers, and is therefore subject to change without notice.
