9-17 April 2016 Connect to Your Creek Week

As part of Healthy Waterways’ Connect to Your Creek Week we are teaming up with our local councils to host a range of activities for our customers.

Additionally, we will be opening the doors to the  Murrumba Downs Sewage Treatment Plant for the following events:

Event: Scout Environment Badge Tours

Date: 16 April 2016

Time: Tours run for 90 minutes and are available between the hours of 7.00am and midday.

Description: This tour is designed to give troops the opportunity to work towards their Environmental Pioneer badge. Scouts will learn about the vital role that sewage treatment plays in protecting our environment, how it fits in with the urban water cycle and gain an understanding of how the plant works.
