School children at the Murrumba Downs Sewage Treatment Plant Education Centre

Sewage Treatment Education Centre Tours

Tours to the Murrumba Downs Sewage Treatment Education Centre are available.

The free, interactive tours, supporting lesson plans and student resources, are aligned to national curriculum (grade 4 and 7) to educate students on the sewage treatment process and the importance of clean water and sanitation in their community.

The centre provides fun, engaging education options for urban water cycle excursions and we enjoy welcoming student groups.

If you are interested in joining us for a tour, please fill out an online booking form (link to booking form here).

Save water in the garden by installing a rainwater tank or a bore to water your garden. Rainwater and bore water are not subject to water restrictions.
