Request plans
As a customer, contractor, plumber, private certifier or consultant, you may wish to find the location of certain Unitywater infrastructure. Please be aware, the standard water/sewer engineering drawings have been created and refined from continual feedback from various sources, such as Unitywater field staff and developers, and are subject to change without notice.
There are different types of plans available from Unitywater:
- Standard maps
- Detailed Infrastructure Plans
- Customised maps.
Standard maps
These are maps with different layers that can be applied to show locations of features such as:
- water supply mains (usually located at the front boundary, parallel to the property)
- sewerage mains. (can go through the property).
They are scaled for local areas rather than individual properties so the location of pipes through your property will be indicative rather than exact.
If you need to measure exact distances you will need as-constructed plans.
Detailed Infrastructure Plans
These are the original construction plans submitted to us by builders or developers when they have completed the build of a property.
These plans show the exact locations of:
- water supply mains
- sewerage mains.
To request a plan, please fill out the Detailed Infrastructure Plan request form (PDF). Turnaround of your request is around three to five working days upon application and payment of fee.

Please note: All A3 and A4 maps are available from our Customer Service Counters, or can be emailed or mailed to you. All A1, A0 and large drawings will be mailed within the turnaround timeframe of three to five working days upon application and payment of fees.
