Extracting water from creeks and rivers

If you wish to extract water from a particular waterway in the Moreton Bay or Sunshine Coast regions (such as a creek or river), you may need a licence.

The State Government is responsible for managing the extraction of water from State waterways. Information is available from The Department of Energy and Water Supply.
